We’ve searched the country to find the most Christmas-y, cheerful and Santa filled places that are motorhome approved across the U.S. From towns that are actually called Christmas and Santa Claus, to unique holiday celebrations, you’ll be glad you parked your camper at one of these six amazing campgrounds. Estes Park, Colorado
Where to Stay: Estes Park KOA
When you stay at Estes Park KOA, your campsite is a mere five miles from the stunning Alpine landscape of Rocky Mountain National Park (which becomes a winter wonderland in and of itself) during the holiday season. You won’t leave without seeing some form of wildlife, from coyotes to elk, RMNP is full of beautiful creatures native to Colorado, so be sure to bring your camera! Downtown Estes is also filled with Christmas spirit. The town is decorated at every street corner and the city holds an annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! What says Christmas more than a town called Christmas? Trade the cold for a sunny holiday as you make your way to central Florida. The town displays a large Christmas tree every winter and there is an iconic Santa and his sleigh that resides on the check-in office roof at Christmas RV Park. Less than an hour from the campground is the magical Disney World. Christmas at Disney is incomparable to anything you’ve ever seen. There are events at every park, from parades to lights and so much more, you can eat, drink and be merry all throughout Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Magic and Animal Kingdom this holiday season!
Santa Claus, Indiana

This is the most happening Christmas campground on our list. Lake Rudolph Campground is known for its holiday cheer. Come enjoy numerous holiday themed attractions from Santa’s Christmas Store, Land of Lights, to the Santa Claus Museum and Santa’s Stables, you can have it all! Lake Rudolph Campground has a fabulous reputation. The RV park was named the best RV Park in Indiana, one of the most family-friendly campgrounds by U.S. News and World Report, and one of the top ten best campgrounds for families by the Travel Channel.
