  Here we have a Zamp Solar Charger. A solar panel comes with the kit and goes on your roof to charge your house batteries. An illuminated red light shows the power is on and a blue lightining blot indicates that your batteries are charging. The charge rate is 13.6 volts.   If your RV is not equipped with a surge guard protector, we highly recommend you purchase one. The surge protector isolates any problem that may exist from a voltage spike, current loss and the back on power, which will save your appliances inside your RV.   To properly power up your Roadtrek with 12 volt power or shore power, you need to turn on your power modules. Each one of these represents a separate bank of the battery system. Start by turning the bottom button on (it will illuminate blue), then hit the top reset button. This will activate the system and you will hear a click.   If you’re running on your generator and then plug your cord into the campsite outlet, it will automatically transfer the power over to your cord. Should you not have an automatic switch, you will have to make the connection manually. To do so, take your power cord and plug it into the coach. The power will then transfer over.
